By Herbstblüte Countesses do actually not belong to my favoured interests; thus I was sceptical, but curious enough to start reading because I had liked the other books of Viktoria Grantz - and I was simply spirited. This incredibly hard life story can be read like a mystery story - and in the end it even encourages. It is good to read what women can achieve if they support each other. Unfortunately we do not find this too often nowadays.
