7 of 7 people found the following review helpful. Good series By Train Well written and action packed series of books. Easy to read and engaging. Does a good job of describing characters throughout. A bit too much sexual content and frankly I am not a huge fan of the lead character as she is like a man in a gorgeous female body. I like the content of stories so I was able to overcome it.
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Finally! A compilation of your favorite heroine! By kgomberg Sam Jameson fans, relief is here. I've not been able to get enough of her. Lars has been putting these out at a fantastic rate, each one gets better as plots and characters get more developed. I've got most of them. THIS completed my collection (for the moment). We've reached a character I think is on par with Jack Reacher. (Sorry, Lee). But she gets better and better as we see more into her. PLEASE! Try her out. You won't be disappointed. Great dialogue, plot twists, action, espionage and a knowledge of politics and technology. Makes a fantastic read when combined. Peter is his latest character, a drunk, sex addicted reluctant spy who is at his best when he's at his worst. (Drunk) Wants no part of espionage, but he gets into it somehow, every time. Thoroughly loveable, and you can see how far Lars has progressed from his first book in quite a short period. Must reads!

By Amazon Customer Look out, Lee Childs!It's been many years since I've found an author who actually USES the English language in words of more than 2-3 syllables.....AND knows how to properly include and narrate those words CORRECTLY. What a JOY!! Mr Emmerich grabs you immediately, hangs on to you, squeezes you till you bleed..... and then entangles you into his storylines even more than at the beginning. With the mastery of his words and his amazing imagination, he weaves unique tapestries of mystery and intrigue....suspense and thrills....loyalty and suspicion.I just cannot say enough about this author.I'm JUST under 3/4 of a century in age (ARGH) and find it so very difficult to force my way through the average novels anymore. Most are written at a sad reading level of grade school. Not so with this gentleman. He writes like a wordsmith for sure.....and one who totally understands when and how to say what needs to be said to complete the picture he is sketching in your mind's eye.I'm in the midst of my second trilogy....and when finished, I don't know where to go and how I'm going to keep my mind excited like it is and has been with the writing of Lars Emmerich. KUDOS to him! There is a new mystery King affoot!! YES!!!Do I recommend his novels? OMG, YES!! A resounding YES!
